The 3rd Workshop on Computational and Statistical Physics (CSP3)

Scope of Workshop:

It is great pleasure to announce the 3rd workshop on Computational and Statistical Physics(CSP3), which will be held on 19-20 October, in Kyoto. The main purpose of this workshop is to bring together scientists studying computational statistical physics and related topics to exchange ideas and to discuss results on our own specific problems in statistical physics. The workshop will take place just after the Conference on Computational Physics (CCP)2012 to be held in Kobe. The workshop CSP3 is much smaller in size than CCP2012, but will be very interesting in discussions among participants of both senior and many young researchers. The workshop includes both several foreign and Japanese invited speakers to discuss on the specific themes in detail. Needless to say that Kyoto is the most traditional, beautiful and cultural city as the ancient capital from 1200 years ago in Japan. The beautiful surroundings and the cultural heritage attract people from all over the world. We sincerely hope that you will participate in our workshop and are looking forward to meet you in Kyoto.

Yours sincerely,
Organizing Committee.

Hotel around Kyoto Station(provided by CSP3).

Hotels in Kyoto are very crowded with lots of tourists in the autumn sightseeing season.
We recommend to reserve the suitable hotel around Kyoto station as soon as possible.
If you cannot reserve the hotel around Kyoto Station, you can consider to reserve the hotels around
Otsu-city (10min (2 stations) by JR train) and Osaka area (~15min by Shinkansen, ~30min by JR train).
